Mission Accomplished !

Dern,,,this 2 nights off stuff vigorously inhales !

The Queen and I left the house early this morning. 

We was on the prowl for a crank sensor wire for The Princess's Chariot.LOL

The Car Doctor called me a half hour after I dropped her chariot off yesterday and said,,,"I think I've found your problem".

I was still in the area so I went back to see.
He said...."We need this wire",it's rubbed the coating off and is grounding out to the oil pan. And told me I'd probably have to get one at a salvage yard.

So we left there and went to 3 different places that I used to know. One was closed for the day, and the other 2 was gone out of business. Not good....

So I came home,,,cleaned the wire up good, taped the bad spots,,,then taped the whole thing,,,,

thinking this may just have to do.
(the coating was in bad shape)

We left out again this morning and headed to Oklahoma to search a couple salvage yards there...*Real HEAVY Sigh*,,,no luck.

So I take the taped up wire back to the Car Doctor and he's admiring my handy work and says okay to sticking it back on the car. Told me to come back in a hour or so and he'd let me know.

I said "noway man, I'm going home and going to bed,,gotta work tonight". I'll see ya about 3. So we did get The Princess's car back today.
The Queen says,,"It seems to be running great". And I think I met a cool guy to work on my stuff.

I feel kinda lucky today !




It's been a fast weekend for me,,,The Queen and I went many miles.

I call it,,,practicing for May !! Make it a good one.
