Happy Birthday Jamie
It's been a rainy week and that's kind of the mood I've been in.
I really don't know where I'm going, but if I keep on moving ahead,,, I'm bound to get there.
July 3rd of 1985, The Queen and I was blessed with a bouncing baby boy, that we named Joshua.
Six days later on the 9th,, my sister had a bouncing baby boy, and they named him Jamie.
And life went on. We all did our own thing and sometimes our paths
would cross and we'd get a chance to set and visit a spell.
We was two very busy families, living on opposite sides of the county.
I did get to see Jamie at my Mom and Pops (his grandparents)

So I got to watch him grow, and grow he did.
He battled obesity during his short life.
People poked fun at him and he'd just shrug them off.
But be willing to give them the shirt off his back if they said they needed it.
A gentle giant,,,I never heard him say a bad thing about anybody.
He could of squashed anybody who ever agitated him, but he wouldn't.
He was coughing violently and had a blood clot move up to his lungs and he couldn't breathe.
They got him to the hospital and they got him breathing again and the phone conversation

was that he was spending the night there for observation.
During the night a blood clot moved to his heart and Jamie went to live in heaven.

And yeah, it's been weird. I miss him more than I could of ever imagined.
I couldn't think about my own son's birthday and not think about Jamie.
Ya know,,,it's really cool being called Pops and Daddy.
But I will never forget the way I felt when he called me "Uncle Eddy".

I believe,,,you don't get to leave this world until you've done your job,
sometimes you never know what your job was, but the people who love you will.
We love ya Buddy,,,and your little light is still shining.
Jamie's Poem to his Mom!
No more crying, No more pain, No more miserable nights in the rain, No more sadness, No more Shame, No more shadows, No more pain, No more voices, No more wondering, why things never worked out my way, No more thinking, Now I KNOW! I was Loved more than I had Known!

I welcome all decent comments, please refrain from using foul language. That doesn't mean you can't criticize, but keep it clean. My momma may show up.
