Tuesday For You, Hump Day For Me =)

On a serious note: Our thoughts and prayers go out for the families of the West Virginia miners killed in yesterdays explosion. And for all those who have to work under those kind of conditions.







It gives me a deeper appreciation for the company I work for. I can get fired for doing anything unsafe. My boss could get fired for asking me to do something unsafe.
We have weekly and monthly safety meetings.
They pound it into our thick heads.
We do safety observations on workers and areas.
They call it "BBS",,,,yeah I can think of several words to put in there,,,but it's "Behavorial Based Safety".....it's just like fastening your seatbelt when you get in the car....it's like going the speed limit,,,stopping at the stop sign.....you just do it. And it works.


We don't work underground, but we're still managed by MSHA.....and seeing the changes that have taken place the last 7 years,,,I'm all for it.....

Okay moving on.........


Lisa saw her first hummingbird of the year this morning. You'd thought she'd won a $100 on the lottery.

It's hUMp day for me, for some reason I have a heck of a time trying to sleep on the second day.

I woke up at 12:30 in the afternoon and tiptoed around, while the Queen was getting her beauty rest.(Lord knows she needs it)

Yeah I know, she comes by here sometime. You might want to check back to see if I get a black eye. I'm sure she'll leave a comment at least.

But anyway,,I was looking out the dining room window, watching a squirrel gather seeds off  the ground, under Lisa's bird feeder that's hanging on a limb of the catalpa tree.
Oh man,,,I love that catalpa tree,,, it gets these bigOworms on it.

They taste great !! You should try one !!
They're kind of sweet and salty. Oh man,,,and if you stick em in the microwave for about 45 seconds ! Yummmmmm, Yummmmmmm !!! ;o)

Where was I ? Oh yeah,,,the squirrel,,,you got to keep a eye on those lil boogers too,,,they'll eat all your catalpa worms.


But anyway this squirrel was looking for seeds and a female Cardinal flew down and 

landed a couple of feet away.

I guess she was giving him the what for,,and the squirrel tried to grab her, but she flew up on a branch.
She was quickly joined by another female cardinal,,just a tad bigger,,,that swooped down and buzzed the squirrel from behind.
It was cool.


Oh man,,,it's going to be a long night.

Subject: An Open Letter to Jesse James


 Jesse, You Stupid Idiot!  You cheated on Sandra Bullock?


 How in the world can you be so stupid?  You are married to one of the most beautiful women in the world; she has a body to die for, and her current wealth and predicted wealth is shadowed only by Oprah, who even Steadman will tell you, isn't attractive.


 But your wife, who recently beat out Julia Roberts in the polls and is now the named "America 's Sweetheart"; you also remember she just won an Oscar (which translates to more money per picture she makes in the future)...while you were shacking with that tattooed freak, who just happens to be a former stripper and is someone's mommy.


  You are really a piece of work!  You are the most hated %#@&*?! cheater on the planet!  

And while the State of California is a no-fault state whereby you may be able to take half of your wife's wealth, in doing so you would only be hated even more...especially after Sandra's speech during the Oscars in which she did nothing but praise you. 

How can you live with yourself after she even cared for your children?


  I only have one thing to say to a dispicable, miserable, cheating piece of crap that you are:


 Thank You!!  You really helped to take the heat off of me.  Lets do lunch sometime and compare notes.
