Reconnecting

I get friend requests on FaceBook all the time.

They're usually from some hottie who can't show her "Good Pictures" on that site,,,

BUT !! If I'll pay $9.99 to join her site,,,I can see her WooHooos !!
(thinking to self...why would I do that when there's free porn on every corner of the www ??")

But today !! I got a couple of friend requests  that were actually from some friends

I met at a chatroom party several years ago. 

And haven't seen or heard from in quite awhile.
It was cool catching up.

Lisa and I have been to several chatroom parties the last 10 years.

And stopped and met quite a few great people along the way or on the way back.
If you ever get a chance to go,,,load up and go. It's some of the greatest people you can meet.

From all walks of life, but they all have one thing in common,,,the internet.

Some you get to know good,,,some will just be a one time deal. 

And there will probably be people you never saw,,,unless you're one of those who sets in the chatroom 24/7/365,,, and if you are,,,you really should get out more.

Some will swap pictures after the dust settles and keep in touch.

Some will disappear never to be heard from again.

Sometimes you really connect,,,kind of bond with somebody.

And you may lose contact,somebody stops chatting or finds another room to 

hang out because somebody pissed in their Post Toasties. 

Or the chatroom may just fall apart and go away.
You may burn out on email. Life gets in the way too. But you wonder about them sometimes. 

Maybe it's when you see a swimming pool, school bus,a dog, or a car that looked like theirs.

Sometimes other people remind you of them,,,I get that alot,,,it's trippy sometimes. 

But if I'm feeling that,,,what are they feeling ?
Because some of them smile and act like they know me....trippy I'm tellin ya, or is it just me ?

But anyway,,I yakked with my old friend for half an hour catching up,,it was awesome.

Hopefully some day soon, we can set around and catch up on a lot more.

And speaking of reconnecting and chatroom parties,,,

we have the 40s50s just friends party coming up in May !!
Yeah Buddy,,,Lake O'Pines here we come. 

That's a nice little lake down by Jefferson Texas, not too far from Taxarkana

(yeah I know,,I saw the typo too,,,but I decided to leave it ;o)

Lisa and I shall be staying with Sparky and Slade again. They're the greatest cabin mates.
We're going to spend a whole week this year.
Instead of rushing around and trying to do it all in 3 days.
Slade and Me got a deal,,,first fish caught gets $5 bucks from the other guy.
I think there might be a race to see who can get to the dock the fastest. LOL

I can already feel that Lincoln in my hand ;)

It was a busy day,,changed the oil and other minor things in and on the pickup and car. 

Princess helped clean up the carport area and was a good taxi to get me to the auto parts store.
